Community Guidelines

Our mission is to foster a vibrant, supportive, and professional tech community in the Solomon Islands. These guidelines help ensure a positive experience for everyone.

1. Be Respectful and Professional

Treat all members with respect. Constructive criticism is welcome, but personal attacks, harassment, and inflammatory language are not. We maintain a professional environment for all IT professionals and students.

2. Help and Support Others

Share your knowledge and experience. If someone asks a question you can answer, take a moment to help. We grow stronger together by lifting each other up.

3. Stay On-Topic

Post in the relevant categories. Keep discussions focused on the topic at hand. Off-topic discussions should be limited to the "Off-Topic" category.

4. No Spam or Self-Promotion

Avoid posting repetitive content or excessive self-promotion. If you have a service or job to offer, use the appropriate channels or contact the committee for guidance.

5. Maintain Privacy and Security

Do not share private information of others without consent. Be mindful of the security of the systems and networks being discussed. Follow responsible disclosure practices.
